Singing While Lying Down

in GENERAL SINGING - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy Forum
I can sing more powerful songs when I'm lying down singing .. Why is that? .. Is it a good practice?

    It's better if you get used to singing standing up. You can sing even more powerful when you stand up you just have to practice.

    The "why" might be because when you're lying down, your rib cage is open, your shoulders are back (but not too far back), your abdomen is free to move in and out as you breathe, and a lot of unnecessary tension is gone from your body. You should be aware of all of it, and replicate it when you are sitting or standing up.
