Home INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Greetings from Phoenix, AZ

Hello all. I'm Bobby and I am a singer/songwriter/keyboard player from Phoenix. I sing lead and play keyboards for a Who tribute and a Santana tribute and my original project. I've been singing for 43 years and it's no longer as easy as it used to be. I just signed up for the course and the forum. I'm excited to be in this program! I have tried a couple others and one didn't make sense to me and the other just throws a bunch of exercises at you and doesn't give you any guidance on how to implement them into a schedule. Ken strikes me as someone who talks the talk and walks the walk, and he sure does back it up with his vocals, so I am looking forward to getting this going and interacting with all of you. Peace.

Bobby, you will have a new beginning with this course. It works. And if you diligently follow the exercises and lessons, over a period of time, you will find your voice will be at its optimum. No need to let the years wear your voice down. It's hard work, but it makes singing easier, and much more effective.

Hey, thanks for the encouragement! I am actively involved in rehearsal, recording and shows on a regular basis, so I have to find my best effort all the time. I know this is a process and it's going to take time and I am looking forward to this! But I still need to perform also. So I need a good warmup for these shows. I'm guessing the regular audio exercises from Volume 1will do the trick?

Yes. Your workout exercises will be your best friends on the way to your gigs. Get your voice nice and warmed-up prior to putting your voice into performance mode.
