    @Diego

    Not a song I know ok so compared it to the original, wow so much like the original definately a warmer smoother sound to your voice and if not mistaken a bit vocal fry grit as well.

    Great Job

    @victortang Thanks so much victor! The main vocals on this one are in one take. I'm hungry most of the time so I'll keep it up haha

    Great job Diego. It thrilled me. The hyper glottal compression at the end sounds a bit artificial though.

    @maximgottmer I agree, that wasn't healthy at ALL. But I did it for the sake of the song.
    Glad you enjoyed it though! I'm not really into the HGC volume yet, so until then I'm stuck with this 50/50 safe/not safe distortion.

    Drop your larynx for the slower parts to get a deeper stronger sound.

    @2:14 This AGAIN!!!!!!
    James is using distortion with a stretched chest. You keep attempting this and missing it. You don't need the distortion, but you definitely need the stretch. The song is in E and that area is swinging back and forth from E4 and Gb4. That means you need to be able to pull your chest to those notes to sing this part correctly.

    Volume 1 is all about building chest voice and stretching it. You really need to be focusing on doing this, because in nearly every song that you do there is an area like this and you fall flat on your face when you do it.

    Hi @Diego,

    that is really good but listen closely to what Shane is telling you. He is right. I also think that this is the point from which you could gain the most. Nevertheless, your progress is MORE THAN IMPRESSIVE. AWESOME how you grow.

    Awesome Diego. Really nice tone throughout. I thought the grit/compression part (4:12-4:30) could use a little improvement. Sounds like it's too much from the throat, maybe darken it a bit. Overall awesome job man!
