Home INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Intro...Hi, I'm Mr Keebs

I'm from So. California, I'm 59, and have loved singing since I was a child although I've had no training and am very shy about singing in front of others. I've played drums in bands doing clubs and events since my 30s and am wanting to learn how to sing good .. then put them together to use in my band. I believe Ken is the best teacher for the job and will look forward to sharing my journey with you and watching you all in yours for inspiration and encouragement. :)

  • Welcome the forums Mr. Keebs. The journey is long but you will have people here to walk with you. :)
  • Welcome mate! I think there might even be some other drummer singers here as well.

    Welcome Mr. Keebs!

@highmtn can certainly speak about drumming and singing here on the forum :)

    All the best,

    Ben
  • Welcome from, So. Ohio, @Keebs ;)

You'll get there. Just put in the time and effort!
  • Yes, actually there are a number of drummers on the forums. (insert comment here about drummers rule).
You will be in much greater demand as a drummer who can sing lead and background vocals.

Ken's program can make a great singer out of you, if you put in the work, and practice. It takes time, but it will come.
  • Welcome @Keebs ! Also a drummer & singer here but I haven’t tried doing both at the same time. I dunno I just don’t think drumming and singing go well together, I make too much movement when drumming to sing well. I’ve seen people do it but it’s also pretty rare.

I’m in the process of learning piano since so feel that and guitar are far better accompanying instruments for vocals.
  • Good to have you @Keebs!
  • Hi @Keebs,

a warm Welcome also from Germany.

    Doc
