when we do the singing exercises do we have to pay attention to the pitch?

when we do singing exercises do we have to pay attention to the pitch? or is the purpose of training vowels?

  • you definitely should pay attention to the pitch.
  • Agreed. You should be focusing on pitch right from the beginning.
This is a thing you'll be developing for quite some time, and deserves a big chunk of your attention.
  • We are aiming to develop the correct muscle memory for excellent and healthy singing. Part of that is open throat. When we sing, we sing notes. The exercises train our muscles to sing these notes accurately and with good technique.
