Vocal nodule?

Ive been experiencing some bad feelings in my throat when singing so I obviously went to an ENT and took a laryngoscopy and I was surprised to hear that I (apparently) dont have any form of nodules bcoz I felt and experienced alot of its effects like unable to maintain a note in low volume, raspy/unclean sound when belting any note between E4 to A#4 (which didn't use to happen before) but a clean head voice... He said I only had an irritation, could it be so?

    I am a Medical Doctor and doing to course for over a year now.

    The answer is: Yes, that could be. Maybe you should learn healthy singing technique if your larynx is irritated.
