Izotope is currently giving it away for free their dope mastering tool Ozone Elements 8. I think it's availalbe until 2nd of October.

    I tried it on the collaboration with Lana ( @coffeecrank ). Wow, works very good to my untrained ears. For sure not as good as if a pro engineer would have mastered it. But for my MacBook home studio without any monitors (mixing on headphones :-1: ) it is a good solution.

    Mastering is both simple and yet almost impossible to master excuse the pun from what I've read about it. I'm completely untrained in it but the plug-in looks great and even Butch Vig uses it. I'm trying to avoid pre-sets but wiht mastering I'm thinking I'll use them . I think it's mostly EQ'ing and compression but how to do it wiht each song is not so simple to me.

    Awesome, I have tried it before, but would be nice to have a non-expiring trial.
