Discrepancies of Chest vs Mix vs Head Voice?

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to all this singing stuff, and I had a few questions about the different registers. When you see baris/tenors belt out those G4/A4/A#4s, is that chest voice or is that some sort of mix? What about when they start reaching C5s etc, is that considered mix or head voice? Thanks guys!

By your description they would likely be in chest or mix, but with good technique and training you would be able to sing those notes however you like from very light head to powerful chest. To be honest I personally don't worry too much about different registers, with the KTVA program we learn to simply make the most of what we have and not worry too much about where our registers start and end. You can stretch both ways if you train well.

And welcome to the forum mate 🙂
