And...what if I can't open my mouth?

I know it's a weird question but here is the problem. Next week I will go through surgery to get removed 2 birthmarks on the lower part of my cheek. I'll get stitches for around a week and I don't know how much I'll be able to open my mouth during that period. Now, if I can open my mouth around 75% (but it's very unlikely) I think I can practice like I normally do, If it's like 50% or lower probably I'll have to practice only the O and U vowels (unless you tell me that practice only these two vowels for a week is bad) but what If I can open my mouth just a little? Is there anything I can do to not lose the progress I made so far?
