Any good recording equipment suggestions for recording jamming sessions?

Do you guys have any good recording equipment suggestions for recording jamming sessions with my band? We've been using our own mobile phones for recordings and don't really think it's good.

I'm not an expert on recording but I think the best results would come from recording each instrument individually and then combining them together. But that's a lot of work and would take a lot of equipment so I would recommend a Blue Yeti USB Mic.

It's not the greatest mic in the world but it's fairly affordable and has the ability to pickup sounds in a 360 degree range so you just pop that mic in the middle of your instruments and hopefully it will do a good job picking it all up.

I have the Tascam Model 24 and it is amazing. it's a multitrack recorder, mixer and interface. not cheap but worth it for me. i use it for production as well so if you only want a stereo recording, the DR 40 (also Tascam) is pretty good for that. using it for years now. and no, I am not sponsored by tascam ;)
