Singing out of tune while doin' warm-ups

Hi guys! I wanted to know if it's usual to sing out of tune while doing warm-ups. My voice sometimes trembles and also I sometimes feel that my chords dry a bit. Thanks in advance!

    It's not usual, but it happens to me sometimes if I haven't practiced in a while and my voice takes some time to find it's stride. If your cords dry out then it's likely you are using more air than necessary.
