vocal range

Hey singers
My range is A2 to D4
I have been doing the slider exercise each day for the last month
how much should i expect from this exercise?
And how often should I do it so that I am doing it correctly?
And am i a baritone?
If i go above D4 then my voice becomes breathy and it start "squeaking" and "Shaking"
I want my range to extend at least till D5 (is it possible at all?)
Can you suggest me something anyone plz?
And sorry that's a lot of questions
