How to get nicely movement from powerful high voice to softly falseto?

When I sing "Oops! I Did It Again - covered by Haley Reinhart", I can't get stability vocal in the last part. My voice sounds bad in the movement between powerful high voice and softly falseto which only has a second to get move in. My throat feels dry and uncomfortable, so my falseto doesn't run well... :(

Maybe you can help me about it....

Thankyou~

    Hi @Melisa

It's a great question and takes some patience. What you're currently doing is flipping into another voice and forcing a lot of air to get the soft sound.

You will have too much "weight" that you head voice can't handle which means you're probably closing the throat and forcing air through it. It's like taking a flamethrower to your vocal chords and will make you hoarse.

Ken has a good video on growing the passaggio to transition which is the basis for mixed voice.
