Can my big fat tounge make it harder to sing?

I cannot get my tounge as low as I think it should be. I don't know if it is even possible. My voice sounds blocked when I sing louder. Does anyone have/had the same problem?

Try sticking it out a little and see if that helps. Just a little bit. You’ll still have to try and lower the the back of you tongue but that will give you a little more space

If you think you sound like Kermit the frog when you go higher, then it's your larynx coming up. Try sing like yogi bear to get an idea of how to lower it to create space.

I think the yogi bear voice might help. I'll try it for a few days. thanks

OMG It worked! I couldn't do such a powerfull low voice before. Also now I can reach much higher notes with my chest voice with ease. Thank you so much.
