Hey guys, first time posting a song though I’ve been on the course for some years. Hope you like it and please comment. The video is a one take wonder so it is what it is, no fixes but compression, reverb and delays are used as you would know.

    Good tone and compression mate! My only critique is you scoop up to the word damned alot but I don't know the original so that could just be the way the original song is sung. I've also heard that if you place your mic just below your mouth closer to your chest it will pick up a bit more girthy low end

    Thank you for your reply. After reading your comment I went back to the original to have a listen and you’re right about the scooping of the word damned. When I started learning this song I actually discovered that I had to open up my throat even more than I was used to, but now understanding I can open up even more. So that’s a good thing to focus on. Everyday’s a school day 😊
