If you follow a regular schedule of scales and start learning how to control your breath and use support, you'll notice a big difference in a few months. Kens open throat technique means we want to spend as much time singing vowels, not words. The consonants are added in just enough so that we understand the singer. This is why the Lah scale really sets you up for success because you are concentrating on opening up your sound and it will translate into your singing.
