COLLAB DEMO: Ken & Doc - Do your "LAH-AH"

after 3 days on the Starter Exercises of Volume 1 I knew I was great. So I thought it would be a great idea to contact the only one singer who would be worth to do a collaborative demo with: Ken.
I sent him E-Mails, called him on the phone, left messages on his answering machine, sent smoke clouds, sent him letters, used the bush drums and wrote post after post in his forums. He didn't answer. I thought: "Well, this guy seems to be VERY busy."
Then, my buddy Shane ( @HuduVudu ) had a great idea. He told me that I should ask Kens alter ego (Youtube-Ken). And guess what? - Youtube-Ken immediately answered and agreed to do a collaborative demo. Here it is:

@YouTube-Ken you sounded a little airy in your chest to me. I think a little support in your mix voice would be in order. Also your diaphragmatic tongue support wasn't quite right I think that is covered in Volume 11. You might want to go back and check out those videos. Also one other thing, your Cb4 was a little sharp, maybe you could fix that using the overtone exercises that are in Volume 1-7.

Yes, laughter is the best medicine. So it is mandatory to my job that gift you some laughs. Love that you enjoyed it.

It was funny. I was driving in my car, bringing my eldest to school and suddenly this song was on the radio. It was a great hit in Germany. And then I heard this ... AAH - AH - AH - AHH! And then it was there within seconds. I had Ken in my mind and it was very easy to put the lyrics together.
And, man, I had so much fun when I found out that Ken was perfectly on pitch in a lot of his videos.
And ... I have another idea with my buddy Youtube-Ken. I hope he will agree again to do a cool collab.

give yourself a try. The weekly assignments are really great. You do not have to post a video. It is also okay to post an audio demo (i.e. soundcloud). You will learn a lot form the assignments - and will have a lot of fun.

that's a big compliment for me. Never ever before I was named in the same sentence with Billie Joe Armstrong. To be honest, 8 months ago I was not able to sing one single note on pitch.
I never thought I would be able to sing something like this until I started Ken's course. After several weeks there was a point where I thought that I might really be able to sing some tunes. But I never thought that someone could like my voice. I always thought that I sound croaky.
Your nice comment means a lot to me. And probably I will give this song a try. I love it - I adore the video. And I would like to ask @Klaus_T to join for the background vocals. And for the video I could again wear the green contact lenses I bought for @victortang 's devil woman.
