in SINGER/SONGWRITERS
As a Norwegian it's hard to find good words and sentences in English lyrics writing. I try to make good lyrics, but I am a afraid of trying to hard and make a fool out of my self. :D
Can someone please have an opinion on a phrase for me? Does it work or is it just strange?
The phrase is : "armour on. Defend my wings of fragile. "
Is " wings of fragile" a meaningless phrase?

    I'm not sure if this will help, but in English, it may make more sense if you say: "Defend my fragile Wings"

    "Fragile wings "won't fit the melody or the rest of the lyric.

    Or if your trying to say it like
    Armor on.....defend!..... my wings are fragile

    HI

    I guess it would be something like

    with my armour on
    protect my fragile wings
    and defend me from
    the darkest things

    then you could rhyme something with on
    and wings

    the above is just an example

    If you want to keep your original line, you can have "defend my wings, they're fragile".

    They're is a word used in place of they are and is pronounced thay-ah.
